What We Do
We build
Mainly with natural materials, we cut, plane, sand and coat these materials.
We integrate the materials together making sure all junctions have form & function.
We do as much as possible ourselves because we are craftsmen above all else.
We rely on a handful of skilled artisans when we can’t do it ourselves.
We stay tight on admin so we can deliver our builds reliably, and consistently.
We stay honest.
We design
There is more to building than what happens onsite. We take ownership of a project from the moment we are engaged.
We ask questions, document our findings and make sure we understand the brief. Then we look for natural materials, understand their properties and get creative to design them into spaces that invoke mood….
This is the fun part. We put material pallets and inspiration images together to set the direction.
We draw design documents that clearly & concisely instruct the build.
We lean heavily on our deep knowledge of building, joinery & fabrication to ensure our designs are not only buildable but wear well over time.
We make
In our workshop we make furniture, fabricate custom components, build doors, make staircases, restore relics and make bespoke joinery pieces. We have Mortising Machines, Panel Saws, Thicknessers, Spindle Moulders and every Festool Machine available on the market. It keeps our skills sharp and gives our crew a creative outlet.
We develop
Not like other developers. Our focus is to add to the landscape, community, and environment.
We don’t take land and cut it up into something smaller. We take land that is undesirable, and we turn it into something beautiful.
We put our money where our mouth is by buying land, designing not just a building but an entire property to create an idealistic healthier lifestyle that we believe will add to its future occupants’ lives.
