The Hardware Club
The Hardware Club is tucked away in Melbourne’s well-known Hardware Lane. The heritage-listed Hardware House building is named for its history as a social club for hardware trade workers in the mid-1890s.
The intimate 65-seater Italian restaurant features walnut veneer joinery, solid timber banquette seating, marble benchtops, light fittings sourced from Italy, a custom pizza oven and full commercial kitchen.
The inner city site proved challenging but it was an absolute pleasure to work with Chef Nicola Dusi and Manager Andrea Ceriani. The pair hale from Verona Italy and have made a name for themselves at D.O.C Pizzeria, Baby Pizza, Chin Chin and +39 Pizzeria. We’re proud to have contributed to Melbourne’s iconic laneway food scene.
